Meet Ellie
Hi, I’m Ellie! Balloons by Ellie started at my kitchen table in 2021, making garlands for friends’ parties.
These days I design and install balloon decor for birthdays, weddings and events across Exeter and East Devon. You’ll deal with me from your first message to the day itself: I’ll help you choose colours that suit your theme and venue, set everything up before your guests arrive and collect it afterwards. I’m fully insured and used to working with venues, so you don’t need to worry about the details.

How far ahead should I book?
Weekends fill up first, so two to four weeks ahead is ideal. Need something sooner? Ask anyway, we can often help.
Do you deliver and set up?
Yes. Delivery is free within 10 miles of Exeter and from £15 elsewhere in East Devon. We bring everything, build it on site before your guests arrive and can collect it afterwards.
How long do the balloons last?
Indoor displays usually look their best for three to five days. Outdoors it depends on the sun and wind, and we'll advise you on the day.
Can I choose my own colours?
Of course. Pick up to four in the quote form, or ask us to suggest a palette that suits your theme.
Can I just hire light-up numbers?
Yes. Light-up numbers, sequin walls and neon signs can be hired on their own or added to any balloon design.
How do I secure my date?
Once you're happy with the design and price, a small deposit secures your date. The rest is due before the event.
